When it comes to MIFA, Jennie is no stranger. Her family has participated either by playing or volunteering in the various facets implemented by MIFA over the past 8 years. Her son in particular has been part of some of these programs from the very beginning. Jennie has shifted her role from parent, to volunteer when needed, eventually finding her way on the Executive panel. This year, she is excited to take the role of General Manager for the Longhorns and looks forward to her continued growth with her MIFA Family.
Shontia has volunteered with MIFA since 2013 and the Oakville Longhorns since 2015. She is an integral part of the team and manages promotion as well as operating front desk at all events. Shontia currently studies Business Administration at the University of Guelph-Humber.
Melissa joined MIFA in 2017 and since then has built key partnerships for the league and represented the Halton/Peel Longhorns on the NFC. Prior to joining MIFA, she volunteered with the Oakville Rangers, Special Olympics and the Oakville Nutrience Half Marathon. She is no stranger to associations, serving as Marketing Chair for the National Newspaper Association and is a member on the Heritage Advisory Committee at the City of Mississauga. Melissa holds an HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business claiming the UWO Gold Medal Award and BMus from Western University. Melissa enjoys running on her spare time.

Jeff has been an active volunteer with the Oakville Longhorns for three years and MIFA ALLSTARS CANADA for two and a half years. A long time cook in Mississauga has him in a position to assist with team bbq's and food ordering. Jeff is the first and last volunteer at every Longhorn event and game. He is the most dedicated Game Day manager a program can have.
Liston B is no stranger to the game of football. He has been an active community coach for 12 years and has coached all ages from as young as three years old to adult. He instilled the proper footwork for young players in preparation for them to play MIFA's flag program which is one of the divisions of the MIFA program he created 9 years ago. He is a proud father that has begun to teach the sport to his young daughter who has already played her rookie season. Liston has worked in entertainment for many years of his life as a master of ceremonies and Nightclub owner. He is a personal trainer and operates a fitness studio MIFA FIT where he also instructs a women's bootcamp. He has made history within the past few years creating and coaching two women's tackle teams Lady Longhorns and MIFA ALLSTARS CANADA in Ontario that also compete internationally. Three years ago he created an International men's team which many members of the Longhorns played on. This team currently travels to Cancun Mexico and America. Some would say the time he put towards football is beyond reasonable but he feels it's minimal as his passion for the game makes it almost easy. Liston is a veteran Linebacker for both the LONGHORNS and MIFA ALLSTARS CANADA with many hard earned awards on his resume. His goal is to finish his football playing career on top and then take everyone committed to the game there!
|Cheerleader Head Coach|
Jenn H founded the Oakville Longhorns Cheerleading team in 2013 and has been running the team ever since. As the head coach, she choreographs various routines for the halftime show and sidelines, and is "Cheer Mom" to all the ladies who have been on the team over the years. She spends the off-season running the cheer team's social media and recruiting new dancers while managing a health clinic in Toronto. Jenn also teaches CheerBody Fitness - a fun and fabulous dance-cardio class - as well as children's dance lessons in the GTA.
|Head Athletic Therapist at Futsal Club Toronto|
Sami Razavi, BPHE, CAT(C), ATC ,RMT
Samira is a Certified Athletic Therapist and a Registered Massage therapist. She attended the University of Toronto and York University to ultimately obtain a bachelors degree in physical education and subsequently become a Certified Athletic Therapist. She then attended Kikkawa college for more manual therapy training to become a Registered Massage Therapist.
Samira's approach to therapy is very simple; treat the cause not the symptom. Her aim is to utilize the different types of manual therapy technique to ensure clients leave the with a long lasting relief from their issues. When she is no working at AESM she works with a futsal and soccer club based in Missisauga.
Roxanne Rodney has been a volunteer with MIFA for four years and this year marks her second year as an executive with the Longhorns. Part of her role is to manage issues relating to players, coaches and staff through the policies outlined in the Code of Conduct. She also currently runs the concession stand that provides delicious snacks and treats on game day.
Chris has been a part of the Longhorns since 2013 and has helped all facets of the program wherever support was needed. The Longhorns called upon him to coach, build infrastructure and assist with web updates. Chris is currently the statistician on title but maintains to be an integral part of the program as he continues to help the executive team with various responsibilities. Chris is respected by many in the football community for his years of volunteer coaching youth. He is currently the offensive coordinator for both MIFA ALLSTARS CANADA Women's tackle team and Lady Longhorns.
|Registrar and GameDay Manager|
Brittany has been the Registrar for the past three years. Prior to this role she was the Registrar for the MIFA Adult Friday Night Lights league. Brittany has been dedicated to her role on working with players on payment plans, collecting player fees and letting the coaches know who is eligible for game day. Her work has not gone unnoticed. For travel games she assisted the program by running last minute errands in order to get all players on the field for play. Brittany is a student and works full time yet still prioritizes to keep the Longhorns consistent.
Mandy has been dancing since the age of 3 and is now a full time Dance Instructor. She has been one of the team captains for the Oakville Longhorn Cheerleaders for the past 3 years. She loves performing every summer with all the new friends she has made. When not dancing she is probably at home with her 2 dogs and 2 cats or out on a hike. She's looking forward to another amazing season with the team!

Paola is an amateur photographer and graphic designer who enjoys capturing special moments through her lens. She has been volunteering with MIFA since 2014 and enjoys sharing her passion with the team. Some of her favourite things to photograph are sports, social events, portraits and landscapes.
